Invited lecture at Correlative Materials Characterization Workshop 2024

7th November 2024

November 6-7 2024 in Dresden, Germany took place a workshop, which brought together communities from Materials, Life and Computer Science, to discuss and explore topics of common interests. The scope of the event included all relevant techniques used for correlative materials characterization. The main focus will be on Light Microscopy, Electron Microscopy, X-ray Microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy and modelling.

In the workshop participated, scientists, researchers, companies, practitioners and participants of the European School for Young Materials Scientists (a satellite event organised in Dresden on 4-5 November).

The workshop was organized by Fraunhofer IKTS, GlobalFoundries, Czech Optical Cluster, CEITEC, NenoVision.

An invied lecture “Multiscale XCT based characterization and modelling in composite materials” during the Correlative Materials Characterization Workshop 2024 was given by the leader of the Modelling & Inverse Metods Research Group Profesor Robert Filipek. In the meeting participated also Dr. Krzysztof Szyszkiewicz-Warzecha.
