On November 6, at the invitation of Dr. Birgit Beckmann from the Institute of Concrete Structures, TU Dresden, prof. Robert Filipek together with Prof. Ehrenfried Zschech gave an invited lecture during the CRC/TRR-symposium. The lecture titled “High-resolution XCT study of concrete and multi-ion transport modeling” met with great interest. Prof. Robert Filipek and Dr. Krzysztof Szyszkiewicz also visited deepXscan GmbH, where they learned about the latest achievements in the field of high-resolution X-ray microscopy. During the visit, further directions of cooperation between Materials & Inverse Method Research Group and deepXscan were discussed.
