Jerzy Lis &#8211; was held at AGH Krakow on Monday, October 16, 2023. Prof. Robert Filipek, AGH Krakow, and Prof. Ehrenfried Zschech, deepXscan GmbH Dresden, introduced the participants into the topic, followed by 6 technical talks about high-resolution imaging of the 3D structure of materials and objects. The minisymposium demonstrated the high potential of X-ray microscopy and nano X-ray computed tomography for materials research and engineering, e.g. for battery research, advanced building materials, but also for fracture mechanics and microeelectronics.
